Orion: a NASA spacecraft designed to carry humans to and from the Moon and possibly Mars in the future with necessary modifications. The spacecraft consists of three modules:
1 ) The launch abort system performs a quick abort in case needed and helps the spacecraft land safely.
2) The crew module is where the astronauts are, and it keeps them safe through launching and landing.
3) The service module contains all the crew’s needs and essential means of support and the propulsion systems and power storage.
Orion’s first mission, Artemis 1 is an uncrewed test mission, and it’s going to be sometime in 2021, aiming for a destination beyond the Moon lasting three weeks. The crew module of the Orion can take up to four astronauts.
